The PFAS-free non-stick cookware pioneers, GreenPan, partner with healthy home expert Nicole Bijlsma to spread an important message this Earth Day
Did you know our homes are filled with harmful man made chemicals, in particular chemicals known as PFAS (per- and polyfluroalkyl substances) that are often found in cookware and other common household items that are damaging not only to our health but our environment and the planet?
That’s why this Earth Day, we supported our client, GreenPan, to bring broader awareness to the importance of PFAS-free cooking, not only for our health but for the health of the planet, partnering with the Healthy Home expert Nicole Bijlsma to share 4 simple tips on how we can minimise PFAS in our homes.
To drive the Earth Day news cycle and build new and engaging content for GreenPan, we develop a highly comprehensive and researched Earth Day article, that was pitched to the media in the leadup to Earth Day on April 22.
Along with a traditional media approach resulting in coverage across digital and print publications, including Kiddipedia and Metro titles; Herald Sun, The Advertiser, Courier-Mail and The Daily Telegraph, we also implemented social media and influencer activity with accredited Nutritionist Jacqueline Alwill, which helped spread the message further resulting in a total campaign reach of over 2.3million+ views.
With the objective to bring awareness to the importance of PFAS-free cookware and the instance of this forever-chemical in other everyday items that aren’t common knowledge, we are proud to have played a small part in encouraging people to rethink their cookware choices and pave the way for healthier homes and a healthier planet.
