On Thursday 30th April, TOMS took Sydney media and influencers on the journey of a lifetime with the launch of their latest Eyewear collection, TRAVELER by TOMS.
The collection of his (Dalston) and hers (Florentin) styles are designed to go wear you do, from the glove box of your car, to diving in the waves at Bondi Beach to climbing Everest – and suit any occasion with seven fun and bright colourways!
Hosted at Sydney stockist Carousel Bondi, over 30 guests enjoyed a healthy ‘traveler’s’ lunch of sandwiches, fresh pressed juices and travel snacks like sweet potato brownies and maple balls from Bondi local Cali Press. Newly launched KombuchAID provided a kombucha tea drink that supports health and wellness projects locally and internationally.
TOMS travel companions included, InStyle Magazine, Girl Power Magazine, Yolo Magazine, Urban Walkabout, Scoopla’s entertainment guru, Justin Hill, style bloggers from SMF, the lovely Laura Csortan, trendy men’s style blogger Mr. Haggarty and soul-inspiring Melissa Ambrosini among others, including a divine border collie named Abbie!
The adventurers were lead in a talk by John Elliott of TOMS Australia & New Zealand about the incredible works that TOMS does to restore sight in over thirteen countries, providing medical treatment, prescription glasses and sight-saving surgery to people in need. Giving Sight helps to restore their independence, provides access to education, and creates gender equality and economic opportunity.
Masters of giving, TOMS, launched TOMS Eyewear in 2011 and have since restored sight for over 300,ooo people around the world.
