Last night, Melburnians gathered on the deck of Chapel St haunt Speakeasy to celebrate the Australian launch of TOMS; the hip footwear and eyewear movement with a cool offering.

Founded by Blake Mycoskie on a simple premise, One for One, every TOMS purchase sees TOMS provide a new pair of shoes to a child in need. The brand has a similar philosophy for it’s new eyewear range.

With the front section of the restaurant closed, guests entered via the back laneway, writing on the painted brick wall a one word answer to a TOMS inspired question – “What would you give?”

Renowned street artists Maricor and Maricar worked busily away on an impressive live art installation that wowed guests enjoying up-beat tunes from Speakeasy’s resident DJ and sipping on bespoke blue curacao TOMStini cocktails.

TOMS will be popping up in Melbourne stores including Hype DC, Patagonia and Glue.
