Harnessing Steve Job’s “pioneering digital vision” Rupert Murdoch and his famed News Corp launch The Daily yesterday – the world’s first ipad magazine.

Boasting 100 pages of news, sport, gossip, celebrity, opinion and life, 360 degree photographs and HD video it will be sold for $0.99cents a week or $39.95 a year…

A few big questions – can they make journalism profitable again with traditional print advertising levels having plummeted, can they sustain us past the launch hype and can they really compete with a trip to the milk bar for coffees and the paper…?

Not sure…The Daily sounds good – we’ll let you know…
